So, it's been a while and that's mainly because not much has been going on on the belly loaning front. After much deliberating, the parents of the first baby I carried have decided to wait before starting the process for a sibling, so I'm a free agent. As such, I decided to reenlist withGrowing Generations, the agency I went with last time.
Interestingly, as I sat here writing, my mom called, and after a few minutes on the phone, I can feel my pulse thumping in my ears, which brings me to my next roadblock: my blood pressure. As soon as the first parents told me they plan to wait, GG sprang into action and brought me in for the psych and medical screenings so I can be rematched with another couple. I sailed through the 567 questions of the MMPI, which is always kind of a kick, and headed to Dr. S's office for the medical screening. All went well there, too, except my blood pressure was high, and watching the clock, knowing I had to ride back through LA traffic to catch my flight certainly didn't do anything to improve it. So, my next step is to go see my doctor and get a letter stating that my blood pressure is consistently normal (which it is outside of insanely stressful situations). For good measure, I stopped in at the local natural foods store for some supplements to support my cardiovascular health and at the recommendation of the very knowledgeable staff, I'm enjoying some lovely cod liver oil twice a day and a fizzy magnesium drink before bedtime. The magnesium drink is yummy, much like Emergen-C, but the cod liver oil, despite a "Refreshing Lemon Flavor," is not my favorite.
what is the name of the magnesium drink? I always have PIH so it might come in handy
